<br />. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />MINUTES OF WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2001 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Joseph, Commissioners Davis, <br />La Berge, Morton (arrived 7:43pm), Swope, <br />and Walsh <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Commissioner Truscelli <br /> <br />GUESTS PRESENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Gary Hover, Superintendent Chris Beth, <br />Manager Mike Gibbons <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairperson Jeri Joseph at 7:35pm in Room 1 at the Community <br />Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A correction was made to March minutes under Item 2, Court House <br />Restoration Project. The following sentence should be added to the rast <br />paragraph: "The Commissioners indicated their support for this project and <br />will wait for Ms. La Berge to return to the Commission for formal approvaL" <br /> <br />M/S Davis/Walsh: To approve the March minutes as corrected. <br />Motion passed I <br /> <br />CORRESPON DENCE <br /> <br />There was no correspondence. <br /> <br />ITEM 1 - TEN NIS COURT RESERVATION POLICY <br /> <br />Superintendent Beth distributed a proposed tennis court reservation policy to <br />the Commissioners. The Commissioners reviewed the document and asked <br />questions of Superintendent Beth. Commissioner La Berge suggested <br />changing the policy to a 4 hours maximum reservation item at a cost of <br />$30.00 for residents and $45.00 for non-residents. <br /> <br />M/S Morton/La Berge: To approve the proposed tennis court <br />reservation policy with suggested changes. <br />Motion passed. (Yes-5, No-l Davis) <br /> <br />
