Monroe <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairperson Matt Walsh at 7:30pm in Room 2 of the Community <br />Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the October meeting and November Park Tour were approved <br />as mailed. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />-There was no correspondence. <br /> <br />The following items were taken out of order: <br /> <br />ITEM 2 -PRESENTATION FROM YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD AND TEEN <br />ADVISORY BOARD <br /> <br />Superintendent Chris Beth introduced the new representatives for the Youth <br />Advisory Board, Andrew Weiss and Danielle Abaya, and for the Teen Advisory <br />Board, Ronald Lau and Ryan Lippitt. . <br /> <br />Youth Advisory Board (YAB) representatives Andrew and Danielle gave an <br />update of activities their board has been involved with and ideas for future <br />activities. Commissioner Truscelli asked if the YAB members would be <br />interested in cleaning tree plaques as a possible service project. <br /> <br />Teen Advisory Board (TAB) representatives Ronald and Ryan spoke about <br />their board's goal to develop a teen website by January 2004.
