<br />r <br /> <br />'.I, <br /> <br />..... <br />.' <br /> <br />~.. <br />.. <br /> <br />J. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />MINUTES OF WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2004 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: ,Chairperson Yapp, Commissioners Davis, <br />Joseph, Morton, Swope, Truscelli and Walsh <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None <br /> <br />TEEN ADVISORY BOARD PRESENT: None <br /> <br />YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD PRESENT: None <br /> <br />GUESTS PRESENT: Police Detective Eric Stasiak, 12 citizens in audience <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Director Corinne Centeno, Superintendent Gary Hover, <br />Superintendent Chris Beth, Secretary Denise Monroe <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairperson Bob Yapp at 7:30pm in Rooms 2 and 3 of the <br />Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The following corrections were made to the May 12 minutes: <br />1.) Page 4, Items for Next Agenda, date should be May 26 not May' 28. <br />2.) Page 3, Item 5, "including a volunteer page" should be added to end <br />of motion. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />A letter was sent to Chairperson Yapp and Vice Chairperson Morton from <br />Jeffrey and Marcia Fancher. A copy of the letter will be forwarded to staff so <br />it can be included in the June Commission packets for further discussion. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION <br /> <br />Lindley Garner, Roosevelt Avenue resident, thanked the Commission for their <br />quick response to the April 17 incident and for inviting the neighbors to <br />attend the two public meetings to discuss the matter. He expressed his <br />appreciation to the Department. <br /> <br />ITEM 1- UPDATE FROM YOUTH AND TEEN ADVISORY BOARDS <br /> <br />No representatives were in attendance. <br /> <br /> <br />, ' <br /> <br /> <br />. <br />
