RESOLUTION NO. P- 2375 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING BID FOR THE C -DOCK <br />ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT THE PORT OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />BID BONDS <br />Bay Area Systems & Solutions, Inc. <br />dba BASS Electric of South San Francisco <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution P-2371 adopted March 28, 2018, by <br />the Board of Port Commissioners, the Port Executive Director requested bids for <br />the C -Dock Electrical Improvement Project at the Port of Redwood City (the <br />"Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, two (2) bids were received for the performance of said work <br />and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br />WHEREAS, Bay Area Systems & Solutions, Inc. dba BASS Electric of <br />South San Francisco, California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Board of Port Commissioners to award said bid to <br />Bay Area Systems & Solutions, Inc. dba BASS Electric of South San Francisco. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Bay Area Systems & Solutions, Inc. dba BASS Electric of <br />South San Francisco in the amount of One Hundred Thirty -Eight Thousand <br />Seven Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($138,700.00), computed in accordance with <br />bidder's proposal dated May 1, 2018, for the C -Dock Electrical Improvement <br />-1 - <br />Reso 257 <br />FXS/fs <br />05/03/18 <br />
