RESOLUTION NO. P- 2381 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE C -DOCK <br />RESTROOM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT THE PORT OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS (W.C. Fairchild, Inc., dba Xcede <br />Construction) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-2373 adopted April 25, 2018, by <br />the Board of Port Commissioners, the Port Executive Director requested bids for <br />the C -Dock Restroom Improvement Project at the Port of Redwood City, <br />Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, Two (2) bids were received for the performance of said work <br />and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br />WHEREAS, W.C. Fairchild, Inc., dba Xcede Construction, of Oakland, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Board of Port Commissioners to award said bid to W.C. Fairchild, Inc., dba <br />Xcede Construction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of W.C. Fairchild, Inc., dba Xcede Construction in the amount <br />of One Hundred Thirty Eight Thousand Six Hundred Forty One and 49/100 <br />Dollars ($138,641.49), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated May <br />30, 2018, for the construction of the C -Dock Restroom Improvement Project is <br />Reso DKS 6/13/18 <br />
