R E S O L U T 1 0 N N O. P- 2387 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE WHARVES 1, 2, 3, & <br />4 MAINTENANCE DREDGING PROJECT AT THE PORT OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS - (THE DUTRA GROUP) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-2385, adopted August 8, 2018, <br />by the Board of Port Commissioners, the Port Executive Director requested bids <br />for the Wharves 1, 2, 3, & 4 Maintenance Dredging Project at the Port of <br />Redwood City, Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, Two (2) bids were received for the performance of said work <br />and filed with the Port Executive Director, and <br />WHEREAS, The Dutra Group of San Rafael, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Board of Port <br />Commissioners to award said bid to The Dutra Group. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of The Dutra Group in the amount of One Million Six Hundred <br />Eighty Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($1,680,600.00), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 5, 2018, for the construction <br />of the Wharves 1, 2, 3, & 4 Maintenance Dredging Project is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />for said work. <br />Reso <br />DKS <br />09/12/18 <br />
