ORDI1~CE A~lliNDING SECTIONS 3.67 AND 3.89 AND SECTIONS 3.121 THROUGH 3.125, INCLUSIVE, OF TIE CODE OF THE CITY OF HEDv100D CITY, RELATING TO Ti'iE REGULATION AND RSMOVAL OF SIGNS IN VARIOUS ZONING DISTRICTS, AND DECLARED TO BE AN Elv1ERGENCY NlEASURE TO GO INTO EFFECT JUl'1E 10, 1964 THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLm'lS: SECTION 1. Section 3.67 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: IISection 3.67 The words 'district' or 'zoning district' shall mean any district established pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. l130, the zoning ordinance." SECTION 2. Section 3.89 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 3.89 All signs, including signs installed prior to the adoption of this article, shall be constantly maintained in a state of security, safety and good repair. If the Building Inspector finds that any sign is unsafe or insecure, is a menace to the public safety or has been con- structed, erected, relocated or altered after the effective date of this article in violation of the provisions hereof, he shall give written notice to the ovmer or the -tenant of the property wherein it is located to remove or alter such sign. If the owner or tenant fails to comply with the pro- visions of this article within ten days after such notice, the Building Inspector may cause such sign to be removed, and the cost thereof shall be paid by the owner or tenant. The Building Inspector may cause any sign which ~s an immed- iate peril to persons or property to be removed sumrnarily and without notice. IINotwi'thstanding the foregoing, the Building Inspector may remove any temporary sign erected, placed or maintained
