<br />DUPLICATE <br />ORIGINAL <br />Statewide One-Stop Rebate Program <br />Agency Participation Agreement <br /> <br />City of Redwood City (Agency) would like to participate in the Statewide One-Stop Rebate <br />Program (Program) implemented by the California Urban Water Conservation Council <br />(Council). <br /> <br />1.0 Program Description <br /> <br />The Program is co-funded through a grant from Proposition 50 and by participating <br />water suppliers throughout California. The Program includes a wide-ranging list of <br />measures to maximize economies of scale and marketing power to achieve a high <br />volume of savings. The Program's objective is to distribute rebates for water users to <br />improve their efficiency through appliance and equipment retrofits and replacements. <br />The Program includes the following measures: <br /> <br />Residential: High Efficiency Washer; Ultra Low Flow Toilet; and High Efficiency <br />Toilet, including Dual Flush Toilet <br /> <br />Commercial: High Efficiency Washer; Ultra Low Flow Toilet; High Efficiency Toilet, <br />including Dual Flush Toilet; High Efficiency Urinal; Pressurized Water <br />Broom; X-Ray Film Processor Recycling System; and Cooling Tower <br />Controller <br /> <br />This cost-effective, comprehensive program offers huge opportunity for market <br />penetration in areas of the state that have never before operated programs. It is <br />anticipated that this program will be completed no later than September 30, 2008, <br />unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. <br /> <br />2.0 Council (or its Representative) Responsibilities <br /> <br />2.1 Provide program management and administration services for the ongoing <br />implementation of the Program, and perform the marketing and outreach, <br />rebate processing and issuance, as well as database administration, customer <br />service, and verification relating to the Program. <br /> <br />2.2 Develop a program logo and theme (e.g. One-Stop Rebate). Eligible product <br />lists, rebate applications, and other program information will be available on a <br />new webpage accessible from WWW.cuwcc.org. Customized marketing material <br />wiLL be developed for each participant including biLL inserts; additional <br />marketing will be conducted as necessary. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide monthly reports via email to Agency that indicates the number of <br />rebates issued for each intervention, the total value of these rebates, the <br />remaining monies pursuant to this agreement. <br />
