ORIGINAL to <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS SERVICES <br />(City of Redwood City) <br />This Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU"), is made and entered into as of this <br />13 day of March 2019, by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br />of the State of California, by and through its Board of Port Commissioners ("Port"), and the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, Office of the City <br />Manager ("City"); <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, Port requires professional public relations services; and <br />WHEREAS, City represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to <br />perform the aforesaid services; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. The services shall include but not be limited to <br />communications and messaging, branding, advertising, general communications and <br />marketing including digital marketing and social media, flyers, brochures, fact sheets and <br />other marketing products, website development and design, video production and other as <br />defined by the Port, media relations and community engagement. Said general services may <br />be amended from time to time in writing approved by the Port Executive Director and the City <br />Manager or City Manager designee. <br />2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. Port shall compensate City for all <br />services performed by City hereunder at the hourly rate of One Hundred Fifty and No/100 <br />Dollars ($150.00), not to exceed thirty (30) hours per month, and shall reimburse City for <br />costs and expenses incurred by City in connection with the services rendered on behalf of <br />the Port.
