ORDINANCE NO. 2199 INTERIM URGENCY ORDINANCE PROHIBITING LAND USES IN CONFLICT WITH GENERAL PLAN, SPECIFIC PLAN, AND ZONING PROPOSALS UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR HEREIN DESCRIBED AREA LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF MAPLE STREET, EAST BAYSHORE BOULEVARD, AND BAIR ISLAND ROAD IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: Section 1. Findings. This Council hereby finds and declares as follows: A. Certain lands within those areas shown on Zoning Maps in Sections 60.22 and 60.23 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, as amended (the "Zon. Ord."), and more particularly shown on Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein included within the

Findings. This Council hereby finds and declares as follows: <br />A. Certain lands within those areas shown on Zoning Maps in Sections <br />60.22 and 60.23 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood <br />City, as amended (the "Zon. Ord."), and more particularly shown on Exhibit "A" hereof, <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are included within the <br />(General Commercial), "TP" (Tidal Plain), "Gl" (General Industrial), and "IR" (Industrial <br />Restricted) Zoning Districts as depicted in Exhibit "A" (collectively, the "Study Area"); <br /> <br /> B. Lands within the Study Area are bisected by Redwood Creek, a <br /> <br />waterway, title to which is vested in the City of Redwood City as trustee under legislative <br />grant from the State of California; <br /> <br /> C. That portion of the Study Area lying northwesterly of Redwood Creek is <br />accessible by vehicle only from Whipple Avenue, a public street, which passes over State <br />Route 101 ("Bayshore Freeway") and connects to East Bayshore Boulevard; <br /> <br /> D. That portion of the Study Area lying southeasterly of Redwood Creek is <br />accessible by vehicle from Maple Street, which passes over Bayshore Freeway, and <br />intersects with Blomquist Street; <br /> <br /> <br />
