<br />BAY AREA WATER SUPPLY AND CONSERVATION AGENCY <br />PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT FOR THE CII LANDSCAPE PROGRAM <br />FOR JULY 1, 2022 THRU JUNE 30, 2023 <br /> <br />The Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) administers a CII Landscape Program <br />(Program) to provide BAWSCA members (Local Water Agencies) a cost-effective way to reduce outdoor <br />water use within their service area. BAWSCA has contracted with Waterfluence (Contractor) to provide <br />the Program services. One‐time fee per number of sites added to Program. Covers site selection, compiling water and <br />weather data, creating site maps, and onboarding water customers. <br />b. Base or Premium Subscription. The base subscription covers all ongoing costs associated with updating and <br />distributing program information to customers and their stakeholders. Includes provision of SB 606 / AB 1668 <br />reporting requirements for CII dedicated irrigation meters. The premium subscription includes 1 additional hour <br />per site of Contractor staff time to improve customer engagement; recommended for agencies needing to <br />maximize Program results and/or preferring not to assist in this effort. For small sites with < 5,000 ft2 of <br />landscape area, agencies can elect an analytics-only subscription at no cost. <br />c. Landscape Field Survey. An optional, on‐site evaluation by an irrigation expert to measure irrigated areas, <br />evaluate the irrigation system, and generate a customized report with findings and recommendations to improve <br />irrigation efficiency. <br />d. BAWSCA Administration Fee. Fee BAWSCA uses to recover costs or administering Program. <br />By submitting this agreement, the Local Water Agency agrees to pay its share of the Program costs, up to <br />the maximum in Item f, within ten (10) days of its receipt of an invoice from BAWSCA. The Local Water <br />Agency is responsible for working with Contractor to ensure it remains within the Maximum Program <br />Budget.
