P-2095 <br /> RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CONSIDERATION PURSUANT TO THE <br /> CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT OF THE PROPOSED <br /> NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND INITIAL STUDY FOR THE MULTI-AGENCY <br /> MARITIME FACILITY PROJECT LOCATED AT THE PORT OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, IN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO; <br /> MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS PERTAINING TO A CERTAIN PROJECT IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH; APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS FOR SAID PROJECT; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF DETERMINATION AND THE <br /> PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES, FEES AND COSTS RELATED THERETO <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Resources Code, Sections 21000, et seq. and 14 Cal. <br /> Regs. 15000 et seq.), the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners (the "Port") undertook the preparation of an Initial Study and <br /> prepared a Negative Declaration in connection with the potential approval of the <br /> project known as Multi-Agency Maritime Facility and located at the Port of <br /> Redwood City, Redwood City, CA (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port is the lead agency for the CEQA decision; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port has conducted an Initial Study to examine potential <br /> impacts to the environment in connection with the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Port proposes to complete replacement and associated <br /> improvements to the existing small craft launching facility located between <br /> existing Wharf 4 and a Public Access Area on the east side of Redwood Channel <br /> — includes a concrete boat ramp for launching trailered boats and an adjacent <br /> pier, gangway and floating dock for access and short term mooring of boats that <br /> use the facility; and <br /> - 1 - <br /> Reso 163 <br /> FXS <br /> 04/28/2010 <br /> Multi Agency Maritime Facility CEQA Approval <br />
