<br />- <br /> <br />-.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT:yc:l/23/69 <br /> <br />RESOLUT~ON NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1968-l969 DEWATERING <br />PROGRAM FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64; <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED: AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br /> <br />./AN 2,. .. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5867, adopted January 6, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the performance and <br /> <br />completion of the 1968-1969 dewatering program for R~dwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk: and <br />WHEREAS, BRAGATO PAVING COMPANY, Belmont, California, 'is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said contract to Bragato Paving Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The bid of Bragato Paving Company in the total amount <br /> <br />of Twenty-eight Thousand One Hundred Eighty-five Dollars <br /> <br />($28,185.00), more or less, for the performance and completion <br /> <br />of the 1968-1969 dewatering program for Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, in accordance with the specifica- <br /> <br />tions and contract documents on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, computed at the unit prices quoted in its proposal dated <br /> <br />January 22, 1969, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 - 1968-l969 Dewatering Program," <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Bragato Paving <br />
