1 ,.w <br /> RESOLUTION N0. /gi7C) <br /> RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION <br /> (BAYSHORE INDUSTRIAL PARK) No, 1 <br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br /> that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public <br /> convenience and necessity require, and that it intends to <br /> order, the following work to be done and improvements to be <br /> made in and for said City, to wit: <br /> (A) Installation of sanitary sewer mains complete with stubs <br /> for future extension, manholes and connection to existing <br /> sewer, extending as follows: From existing Redwood City <br /> sewer at Steinberger Street at Old Bayshore Highway, North- <br /> westerly and along said Old Bayshore Highway to a point <br /> about 460 feet from Whipple Avenue; and from a point on <br /> the above described line at the southermost property corner <br /> of Peninsula Celebration Association, Northerly and parallel <br /> with the P.C.A. property line until that line hits the <br /> existing dyke on the Southeasterly bank of Redwood Creek <br /> and then Northwesterly and Northerly along the said dyke and <br /> across the Bayshore Freeway to a point next to the existing <br /> cul -de -sac at the end of the Freeway service road next to <br /> the lands of J. 0. Archibald, as they now exist. <br /> (B) Installation of a complete storm drainage system, including <br /> pumping plant to lift storm water and discharge into creek, <br /> to handle all water accumulating in the area bounded by <br /> Whipple Avenue and Redwood Creek, Old Bayshore Highway and <br /> Bayshore Freeway. <br /> (C) Installation of a complete water distribution system includ- <br /> ing mains, fittings, valves, etc., extending as follows: <br /> From the existing water main at the intersection of Middle- <br /> field Road and Bradford Street northerly along Middlefield <br /> Road to Old Bayshore Highway, then Northwesterly along the <br /> old Bayshore Highway to Whipple Avenue, Then Southwesterly <br /> along Whipple Avenue to the existing water main; and from <br /> a point on the above described water main on old Bayshore <br /> Highway at a point opposite Standish Avenue, Northeasterly <br /> through the lands of Price Building Specialties Company <br /> to the property line of Peninsula Celebration Association; <br /> and from a point on the above firstly described water main <br /> on old Bayshore Highway at Brewster Avenue, Northeasterly <br /> through the lands of Price Building Specialties Company <br /> and along the proposed extension of Brewster Avenue to the <br /> property line of Peninsula Celebration Association. <br /> (D) The acquisition of all property and easements reasonably <br /> necessary to complete the above improvements. <br /> -1- <br />
