RD-84-07 RD 84-07 AUG 27 1984 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN LITIGATION <br /> (HOLMES, et al. v. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED, etc., et. <br /> al.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Agency is a named Defendant in that certain <br />action entitled OLGA HOLMES, et al., v. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN <br />THE MATTER OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2, etc., et al., S.M. <br />Cnty. Sup. Crt. No. 267736 ("the Action") wherein Plaintiffs <br />allege, among other matters, non-compliance with certain <br />provision of the Community Redevelopment Law and the invalidity <br />of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a proposed settlement of the action has been <br />reviewed by and presented to this Council as evidenced in that <br />certain "Settlement Agreement" prepared for filing in said <br />action; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Settlement Agreement, among other matters, <br />makes provisions for housing for moderate and low income persons <br />in the City of Redwood City consistent with this Council's policy <br />and the Community Redevelopment Law, and further provides for the <br />dismissal of the action without admission of liability by this <br />Agency; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> RD-84-07 <br /> <br /> <br />
