a • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. :1_4809 • <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $6,200,000 PRINCIPAL <br /> AMOUNT OF "REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 -65 <br /> 1966 DRAINAGE SYSTEM BONDS ", PRESCRIBING THE DATE AND FORM OF <br /> SAID BONDS AND OF THE COUPONS TO BE ATTACHED THERETO; FIXING <br /> THE MAXIMUM RATE OF INTEREST ON SAID BONDS AND PRESCRIBING <br /> THE MATURITIES THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SAID <br /> BONDS AND COUPONS; PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF A TAX TO PAY THE <br /> PRINCIPAL THEREOF AND INTEREST THEREON; AND DIRECTING <br /> 'NOTICE OF SALE OF SAID BONDS TO BE GIVEN. <br /> WHEREAS, all the requirements of law, including <br /> the Charter and the Ordinance hereinafter referred to, have • <br /> been complied with in calling and holding the special bond <br /> election held in Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> No. 1 -65 (herein called the "District "), on June 8, 1965, <br /> at which election a measure to issue bonds of the District <br /> in the principal sum of $6,200,000 for the objects and pur- <br /> poses hereinafter stated was submitted to the voters of the <br /> District; and the Council of the City of Redwood City did <br /> duly and regularly canvass the returns of said election and <br /> did as the result of such canvass determine and declare, and <br /> do hereby certify, that said measure received at said election <br /> the affirmative vote of a majority of all of the voters voting <br /> on said measure at said election, and was thereby carried and <br /> adopted by said election, and the issuance of said bonds by <br /> the District was duly authorized, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br /> the City of Redwood City, as follows: <br /> -1- <br />
