1 . <br /> MINUTE ORDER <br /> January 22, 1990 <br /> MO: 90 -010 <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: January 25, 1990 <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> General Services Director <br /> Housing Director <br /> SUBJECT: General Plan <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on January 22, 1990 <br /> Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Bury, Murray, LaBerge, Stangel and <br /> Mayor Greenalch <br /> Absent: Councilmember Claire <br /> Adoption of General Plan <br /> Report: Planning Director Patterson 1/18/90 <br /> Draft General Plan Document <br /> Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report, responded to <br /> Council questions and advised the revised Housing Element would be brought <br /> back for Council consideration in the next few months. <br /> Councilman Murray addressed the following subjects in the General Plan: <br /> a. Technical corrections to map. <br /> b. Page E -6, No. L -3 "higher residential densities should be promoted at <br /> locations near or within commercial and financial centers, employment <br /> centers, and transportation terminals." <br /> M /S: Murray/ to change wording to "higher residential densities <br /> should be discouraged except near or within commercial and financial <br /> centers, employment centers, and transportation terminals." <br /> Motion died for lack of a second. <br />
