RD-94-15 RD 94-15 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE THEREOF FOR DESIGN AND <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF ARCHITECTURAL FEATURE (CLOCK TOWER) <br /> RELATING TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CENTER IN SEQUOIA <br /> STATION PROJECT AREA <br /> <br /> (CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES - DIVISION <br /> OF STATE ARCHITECT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of California, acting by and through its <br />Department of Transportation, ("CalTrans") has awarded a bid for <br />the construction of a station depot, lighting, landscaping and <br />related improvements (the "CalTrain Station Project") in the <br />Sequoia Station Project Area established by this Agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Agency requested CalTrans to include a <br />distinctive architectural feature, in the form of a clock tower, <br />in the design and construction of the CalTrain Station Project <br />conforming to, and enhancing, the design of Sequoia Station <br />Project improvements in the vicinity of the CalTrain Station <br />Project; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RD-94-13, adopted July <br />17, 1994, the Budget of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Redwood City for Fiscal Year 1994-1995, was adopted, and Agency <br />bond funds were thereby allocated for the design and construction <br /> <br />of the aforesaid clock tower; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The sum of Fifty Thousand Seven Hundred Fourteen and <br />No/100 ($50,714.00) is hereby appropriated from this Agency's <br />bond fund for the design and construction of an architectural <br /> <br /> <br />
