RD-98-08 RD 98-08 RD-98-8 RD 98-8 RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE AGENCY'S REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL, INCLUDING THE SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT, ON THE PROPOSED FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF REPORT AND FOURTH AMENDMENT TO CITY COUNCIL, CONSENTING TO JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FOURTH AMENDMENT, AND AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN. WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City ("Agency") has prepared the Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 ("Fourth Amendment"); and WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City for its report and recommendation and has received such report and recommendation; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33352 and 33354.6 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) the Agency has prepared a Report to City Council on the Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 ("Report to City Council"); and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33328.5 (c) of the California Community Redevelopment Law, the Agency has included within the Report to City Council the information required to be within a Supplementary Report; and WHEREAS, Sections 33355 and 33354.6 of the California Community Redevelopment Law authorize a joint public hearing on the proposed Fourth Amendment with the consent of the Agency and the City Council of the City of Redwood City ("City Council"); and WHEREAS, the Agency on December 19, 1994, by Resolution No. RD-94- 25, adopted a Five-Year Implementation Plan ("Implementation Plan") pursuant -1- RD 98-08 AK/DES: 4/20/98
