RD-98-01 RD 98-01 RD-98-1 RD 98-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RECEIVING AND AUTHORIZING CIRCULATION OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED FOURTH AMENDMENT TO REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2, REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City has caused to be prepared a Draft Environmental Impact report (dated for reference November, 1997, and hereafter referred to as "Draft EIR") for the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 in accordance with provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and local procedures adopted pursuant thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, as follows: Section 1. The Draft EIR, in the form attached hereto, is hereby received by the Agency as the Agency's Draft EIR for the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 for the purpose of circulation for review and comment by public agencies and members of the public. The Redevelopment Agency shall receive written comments at its office at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063 until 5:00 p.m. on March 4, 1998. Oral comments will be received through the close of the public hearing described in Section 2, below. Section 2. The Agency hereby requests that the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City notice and hold a hearing to receive public comment on the Draft EIR in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Redwood City, California at the above cited address.
