RES T I Q N 91.PC - -1 <br />ARESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COrvI1VIISSIOlV OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY SELECTING THE BOUNDARIES <br />OF THE AREA TO BE ADDED TO REDEVELOPMENT <br />PROJECT NO. 2; FORMULATING AND APPROVING A <br />PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE ADDED AREA; AND <br />AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE PRELIMINARY PLAN <br />FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, City Council Resolution No.. 13��6 adopted the <br />"Amended 1997 Redevelopment Survey Area" ''Survey Area ") and requested <br />that the Planning Commission conduct feasibility studies, select boundaries <br />.front within the Survey Area, and fo a Preliminary Plan that would <br />provide for the expansion of the Project Area of Redevelopment Project No. 2 <br />.as adopted by Ordinan No 1862 and altered by Ordinance No. 1911 <br />Ordinance moo. 2007; and <br />W HEREAS ./ this Planning Commission, wo r king with the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, has reviewed said <br />Survey Area and considered the expansion of the boundaries of said ex ist' <br />Project Area and concluded that expansion of the boundaries of <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 is feasible. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION THE CITY OF <br />RED OOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS <br />Section. 1 . The Planning Commission hereby amends the Pre liminary <br />Flan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 by .selecting the boundaries, from <br />within the Survey Area, of the area to be added to the existing .Project Area, <br />which area shall be a new sub. area within the Project Area to be known as the <br />"Fourth Amendment .Sub - Area."
