RESOLUTION N . 12-01 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING A PLANNED COMMUNITY PERMIT PURSUANT T THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY'S DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN WHEREAS, Applicant, l aintree Partners, has submitted an application for a Planned Community Permit for a -story residential project located at 201 Marshall street (the Project) which is within the Downtown Precise Plan area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City ("Commission") is empowered by the Downtown Precise Plan to act upon applications for Planned Community PC permits; and WHEREAS, on January 10, 2012, the Commission considered an Initial Study checklist pre pared by the City I s Planning Division and its findings, the previously certified Downtown Precise Plan Program EIF (State Clearinghouse x#2006052027), the staff reports, oral and written, and testimony and materials presented by all those wishing to be heard on this Projects at the noticed public hearing on this ratter; and WHEREAS, on January 10, 2012, the Commission conducted a public hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Planning and Zoning Lair and the Downtown Precise Plan, to consider approval of Planned Community Permit Application No. DPC2 12 -02; and WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the proposed Planned Community Permit would further the purposes of and appropriately implement the City of Redwood City General Plan, applicable provisions of the Redwood City Municipal Code and Downtown Precise Plan, and the 201 Marshall Street Residential Project. NOW, , THEREF l E, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
