RESCILUTI4N NC?. 12-08 <br /> A RESQLUTION OF THE PLANN(NG COMMISSIt�N OF THE CITY 4F <br /> REDWOOD CfTY ADC}PTING THE �INAL lNITIAL STUDY/MlTiGATED <br /> NEGATIVE DECLARATI�N FOR THE 1410 VALOTA ROAD <br /> RESl�ENTIAL PROJECT; MAKING CERTAiN FINDINGS REGARDiNG <br /> MITlGATION MEASURES; AND ADGIPTING A M1TlGATIQN <br /> M{7PVITt�RING AND REPORTING PLAN AtL IN AGCORQANCE WiTH <br /> THE REQUIREMENTS {)F THE CALtFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> QUALITY ACT <br /> WHEREAS, 1410 Valota Road Partners LLC ("ApplicanY') submitted applications <br /> to the City of Redwood Gity {"City") for a Planned Development Permit AppGcation No. <br /> PD2011-01, Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance and Vesting Tentative Map <br /> Application No. TM2012-01; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has caused the preparation of a Final Initial Study/Mitigated <br /> Negative Declaration for the proposed '1410 Valota Road Residential Project {the "Final <br /> IS/MND"), pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> {Public Resources Code Section 21000 et seq.; hereafter, "CEQA"), the Guidelines for <br /> Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (Title 14, Sections 15000 ef <br /> seq. of the California Code of Regulations; hereafter, the "CEQA Guidelines"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Draft IS/MND far the 1410 Valota Road Residential Project was <br /> published far public review and comment beginning on February 1, 2012 and ending on <br /> February 22, 2012. The Draft IS/MND was filed with the State Office of Pianning & <br /> Research under State Clearinghouse No. 2012022007. The City mailed, published and <br /> posted on its website a Notice of Completion {"NOC") ta notify respansible agencies, <br /> surrounding property owners and #enants, neighborhood association chairpersons and <br /> interested parties of the Draft IS/MND for the 1410 Valota Road Residential Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, #he City prepared wri#ten responses to the comments received <br /> during the comment period and included these responses in the Final IS/MND and <br /> prepared a separate document entitfed " Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> 1410 Valota Road Residential Project, February 2012,° which together with the Draft <br /> IS/MND constitutes the Final IS/MND; and <br /> WHER�AS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed 14'f 0 Valota <br /> Road Residential Project plans and application submittals and all environmental <br /> documents and suppnrting studies and reports necessary for certification of the Final <br /> ATTY/RESO. 2211/ 1410 VALOTA RD CERTIFICATION OF FINAL IS-MND <br /> REV:04-23-92 VR <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
