RESOLUTtON NO. 12-09 <br /> A RESOLUTION �F THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CtTY OF REDWOOD CITY GRANTING A MODIFICATION <br /> APPROV[NG A PLANNED aEVELOPMENT PERMIT F4R THE <br /> 1410 V,ALOTA RQAD RESIDENTIAL PROJECT PURSUANT TO <br /> THE C1TY 4F REDWOOD C17Y ZONING ORDlNANCE <br /> WHEREAS, 1410 Valota Road Partners LLC ("Applicant") submitted <br /> applications to the City of Redwood City ("City") far a Planned Development <br /> Permit Application No. PD2011-01, Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance and <br /> Vesting Tentative Map Application No. TM2012-01; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwoa�i City <br /> ("Commission") is empowered by Article 46 (Planned Develapment Permits) of <br /> the City of Redwood City Zoning Code to act upon applications for planned <br /> development permits; the Commission is also empowered by the Subdivision <br /> Map Act and the Redwaod City Municipa! Code to consider Vesting Tentative <br /> Map Applications; and <br /> WHEREAS, an April 3, 2012, the Commission considered and certtfied an <br /> Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Deciaration ("IS/MND") prepared by the City's <br /> Planning Services in accordance with the requirements of the California <br /> Environmenta( Qua(ity Act {"CEQA") and, based on the appraved Final IS/MND, <br /> considered and adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in <br /> compliance with al! CEQA requirements, as part of the City's consideration af <br /> Planned Deve(opment Permit Appiication No. PD2011-Q1, Exceptions to the <br /> Subdivision Ordinance and Vesting Tentative Map Application No. TM2012-01; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 3, 2012, the Commission conducted a public <br /> hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Pfanning and <br /> Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider approval of <br /> Planned Development Permit Application No. PD2011-01, approval of <br /> Exceptians to the Subdivision Ordinance and Vesting Tentative Map Application <br /> No. TM2f�12-01, and received and considered oral and documentary evidence on <br /> the applicatian; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the proposed Planned <br /> Development Permit, Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance, and Vesting <br /> Tentative Map would further the purposes of and appropriately implement the <br /> City of Redwoad Gity Genera!
