RESQLUTION NO. 12-10 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNlNG COMMISSIQN OF THE <br /> CITY QF REDWOO�� CITY GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TU THE <br /> SI�BDIVISION ORt31NANCE AND APPROVING A VESTING <br /> TENTAT(VE MAP F4R TNE 1410 VALOTA RC)AD RESIDENTIAL <br /> PROJECT PURSUANT TO THE SUBDIVISION MAP ACT <br /> AND THE REDWOOD CITY MUNIClPAL CO�E <br /> WHEREAS, 1410 Valata Road Partners LLC ("AppNcant") submifted <br /> applications to t�e City of Redwood City ("City") for a Pianned Develapment <br /> Permit App�ication Na. PD2011-01, Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance and <br /> Vesting Tentative Map Applicafiion No. TM2012-01; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cammission of the City of Redwood City <br /> ("Commissian") is empowered by Article 46 (Planned Development Permits) af <br /> the City of Redwood City Zoning Code to aet upon applications for planned <br /> development permits; the Commission is also empowered by the Subdivisian <br /> Map Act and the Redwood City Municipal Code to consider Exceptions to the <br /> City's Subdivision Ordinance Vesting Tentative Map Applications; and <br /> WF�EREAS, an April 3, 2012, the Commission considered and adopted an <br /> Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration ("IS/MND") prepared by the City's <br /> Planning Services in accardance with the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and, based on the approved Final IS/MND, <br /> considered and adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in <br /> compliance with all CEQA requirements, as part of the City's consideration of <br /> Planned Development Permit Application No. PD2011-01, and Exceptions to the <br /> Subdivision Ordinance and Vesting Tentative Map Application No. TM2012-01; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 3, 2412, the Commission conducted a public <br /> hearing, in accordance with al! applicable requirements of the State Planning and <br /> Zaning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider approval of <br /> Pianned Development Permit Application No. PD2011-01, approval of <br /> Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance and Vesting Tentative Map Application <br /> No. TM2012-01, and received and considered oral and documentary evidence on <br /> the applicatian; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the proposed Planned <br /> Development Permit, Exceptions to the Subdivision Ordinance, and Vesting <br /> Tentative Map would further the purposes af and appropriately implement the <br /> ATTY/RES0.22131 1410 VALOTA RD — TM EXCEP710NS TO SUBDVSN ORO <br /> REV:04-23-12 VR <br /> Pagr 1 of i l <br />
