P- 21�9 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS F�R THE WHARVES <br /> 1 AND 2 REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT THE PORT OF <br /> REDWOf�}D C1TY; AUTHORtZING EXECUTION O�' <br /> AGREEMENT �OR SAID WORK AND DIRECTING R�TURN �� <br /> SECURITY DEPOSlTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-2171 adopfied April 11, 2012, <br /> by the Board of Port Commissioners, fihe Port Executive Director requested <br /> propasals for the Port Wharves 1 and 2 Replacement project at the Port of <br /> Redwood Ci#y (the "Projecfi"}; and <br /> WHEREAS, four (4} proposals w�re received for the performance of said <br /> work and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Board of Po�t Cammissioners reiterates its belief in the <br /> design-buiid approach in connection with this Praject as ifi is anticipated that the <br /> design-build approach {best value approach) wilf reduce project cost, expedite <br /> project completion, and/or �rovide design features not achievable through the <br /> design-bid-build method; and <br /> WHEREAS, Manson Construction Company of Seattle, Washington, is <br /> the bidder whose proposal is determined to be the mosf advantageous to the <br /> Porfi and it is the intention and desire of this Board of Port Corr�missioners to <br /> award the work for said project to Manson Construction Campany. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF P4RT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE C[TY OF REDWOO� CITY, AS ��LLOWS: <br /> - 1 - <br /> fteso 198 <br /> 06l13/12 �f;. <br /> Fxs/fs �;� <br /> V�,. <br />
