<br /> CGM;sw:l/19/78 <br /> ORIGI�J�IL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7985 JAN 23, 1978 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br /> TRUCK-MOUNTED CRANE FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; <br /> REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEP�IENT FOR THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7948 , adopted <br /> December 12, 1977, the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> furnishing of one truck-mounted crane to be used by the City <br /> of Redwood City for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Western Traction Company, Hayward, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> equipment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to Western Traction Company, to waive any infor- <br /> mality in the bid of the above-mentioned bidder, and to reject <br /> any and all other bids received for said equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDU700D CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Western Traction Company in the total sum of <br /> Twenty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($21, 990. 00) in accordance with bidder' s proposal dated <br /> January 10, 1978, for the furnishing of one truck-mounted crane, <br /> (Pitman P�odel HL 110C) is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> equipment. <br /> 2 . Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are waived. <br /> �' 98 � <br />
