. ,. . <br /> RJC.ek 1/21/63-7 <br /> � � !� ���d� <br /> �: �� :�,�r� � <br /> _..__ _ _� ; <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE SECiJRING OF A U5E FERMIT FOR THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF ANY STRUCTURE, OR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF <br /> ANY USE, 3�iITHIN A DESCRIBED AREA WITHIN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, ADOPTED AS A TEMPORARY INTERIM ZONING QRDINANCE, AND <br /> AD�FTED A� AN EMERGENCY MEASURE, TO GO INTO EFFECT <br /> IMMEDIATELY <br /> WI�REAS, the Planning Department of the City of Redwood <br /> City has proposed a new comprehensive Goning Ordinance for the <br /> City of Redwood City and has conducted studies relative to the <br /> zoning of the hereinafter described area; and, <br /> 1�7HEREA�, the Planning Commission has proposed a schedule of <br /> hearings on the proposed Zoning Ordinance, which schedule anti- <br /> cipates that the public hearings will be completed by March 20, <br /> 1963, and the ordinance transmitted to the City Council for hearing <br /> and adoption; and, <br /> ��REAS, the Planning Department is presently conducting an <br /> independent study relating to the proper zoning for the herein- <br /> after described area; and, <br /> �SrsiHEREAB, the County of San Mateo and the cities of San Mateo <br /> County are currently developing a financing plan for the construction <br /> of an interchange structure and major thoroughfare in the vicinity <br /> of the hereinafter described property, which improvements will <br /> have a substantial effect upon the appropriate zoning of said <br /> property; and, <br /> 3+�HEREAS, it is currently proposed to submit said financing <br /> plan to the voters of the County of San Mateo in the form of a <br /> general obligation bond issue to be voted upon in April, 1963; and, <br /> I�REAS, it has come to the attention of this Council that <br /> there is certain development proposed within the hereinafter <br /> described area which is not compatible with the uses anticipated <br /> under the proposed Zoning Ordinance; <br /> ':.:� <br /> •� <br /> , <br /> ,::�) <br /> �;'� <br />
