MSR : jp : 1/31/77 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> FEB 7 1977 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO . 7763 6 3 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br /> OF NINE ROLL OVER PROTECTION STRUCTURES ; REJECTING <br /> ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City , the City <br /> Manager has solicited written bids for the furnishing of nine <br /> Roll Over Protection Structures to be used for municipal <br /> purposes ; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said solicitation for written bids , <br /> bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the <br /> furnishing of said equipment ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Burris Enterprises , Inc . , Corona , California , <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> nine Roll Over Protection Structures , and it is the intention <br /> and the desire of this Council to award said bid to Burris <br /> Enterprises , Inc . , to waive any informality in the bid of <br /> the above mentioned bidder , and to reject any and all other <br /> bids received for said work ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of Burris Enterprises , Inc . , in the total <br /> lump sum amount of Six Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety- four <br /> and 31/100 Dollars ( $ 6 , 694 . 31 ) in accordance with bidders <br /> proposal dated December 29 , 1976 , for the furnishing of nine <br /> Roll Over Protection Structures , in accordance with the <br /> specifications therefor on file in the office of the City <br /> Manager , is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby bound <br /> and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work . <br /> 7 7 <br />
