_ 02/25/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14418 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />CONSULTING SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL <br />DOCUMENTATION FOR THE REDWOOD CITY <br />RECYCLED WATER PROJECT - (CH2M HILL) <br />WHEREAS, City requires environmental documentation in order to <br />understand the potential significance of environmental impact associated with <br />development of the Recycled Water Project (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an <br />environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §21000, et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines "; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that an Initial Study is required and that further environmental review <br />and preparation of a Negative Declaration or Environmental Impact Report may <br />be required (the "Environmental Review "); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has appropriated funds in the Water <br />Enterprise Fund Capital Improvement Program budget to pay for the Initial Study <br />and the Environmental Review; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional environmental <br />analysis services; and <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reso.1280 1 <br />022002 <br />
