<br /> ... <br /> " <br /> C~:bc:5/16/79 <br /> ORIG1NAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1786 <br />JUN 4 1979 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.95.1, 20.123.5, 20.126 <br />AND 20.127 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 20.95.2 TO, CHAPTER <br />20 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO PARKING BAIL <br />SCHEDULES <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.95.1 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.95.1. ( a) If a vehicle shall remain parked <br />in a parking space beyond the parking time limit fixed for <br />such parking space in accordance with the provisions of this <br />division, such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime <br />and beyond the period of legal parking time in that event, <br />and the parking of a vehicle overtime or beyond the period <br />of legal parking time in any such part of a street where <br />parking is limited to a specific period of time shall be a <br />violation of this division. <br /> It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions <br />of this division for any person to cause, allow, permit or <br />suffer any vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by <br />such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of <br />legal parking time established for any parking space. <br /> " (b) It shall be the duty of each police officer or <br />parking enforcement deputy to take the state vehicle license <br />of such vehicle; the time, place, and date of such over- <br />parking; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, <br />a citation for illegal parking in the same form and subject <br />to the same procedure provided for by the laws of the state <br />applicable to traffic violations within the city. <br /> " (c) Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a <br />citation has been issued in accordance with the preceding <br />subsection may within five ( 5) days of the time of the issuance <br /> 1 786 <br /> _O·.__HH·. -~_.,_... <br />
