Ordinance No. 1706, entitled "Ordinance Establish- ing Salaries for Certain Designated Employees of the Redwood City Fire Department; and Repealing Ordinance No. 1637," is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. The following monthly salary rates, in dollars, are established for each of the employee positions within the employment classifications relating to Fire Department personnel, set out below, within the designated ranges hereinafter set forth, for the period June 1, 1978 through December 31, 1979; excepting, however, the monthly salary rates established for each of the employee positions within the classification of Communications Dispatcher Assigned to the Fire Department, which are established for the period June 1, 1978 through June 30, 1979: Steps 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 - - - - - - - Communications Dispatcher Assigned to Fire Department 1057-1109-1163-1221-1282 Fire Inspector 1407-1478-1551-1629-1711 Fire Captain 1407-1478-1551-1629-1711 Fire Alarm Supervisor 1407-1478-1551-1629-1711 Fire Fighter 1098-1156-1217-1277-1340-1409-1479 SECTION 3.
