DAS:sb 5/16/87 (#33) ORIGINAL AGREEMENT STREET OVERLAY AND RESURFACING PROJECT 1986-87 THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, hereinafter referred to as "City," and OLIVER DE SILVA, INC., hereinafter referred to as "Contractor," for the consideration hereinafter stated, hereby agree as follows: 1. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, and tools to install within eighty-five (85) calendar days beginning one (1) calendar day after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: STREET OVERLAY AND RESURFACING PROJECT 1986-87 in strict accordance with the plans, contract documents and specifications prepared by the City Engineer of Redwood City, which plans and contract documents and specifications are incorporated herein and made a part of this agreement as if herein fully set forth. 2. The City shall pay Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the sum of One Million Thirty-three Thousand One Hundred Twenty-eight and 64/100 Dollars ($1,033,128.64) , computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted proposal dated May 5, 1987 and in the manner set forth in Section 6 entitled "Measurement and Payment" of the City's General Provisions, which provisions and accepted proposal are incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth.
