MJP:mmg 03/07/89 (#40/005) <br /> MJP:mmf 3/13/89R <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> SIDEWALK REPAIR AND TREE REPLACEMENT SERVICES - AMPEX <br /> CORPORATION, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~--~ day of <br /> ~ , 1989, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />a municipal corporation of the state of California, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as "City", and AMPEX CORPORATION, Redwood City, <br />Cali'fornia, hereinafter referred to as "Ampex"; <br /> <br /> WI TNE S S E T H: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; As part of its 1989 Sidewalk Repair and Tree <br />Program, the City of Redwood City provides, through its <br />contractor WHITESIDE CONSTRUCTION, San Rafael, California, <br />hereinafter referred to as "Contractor", for the repair of <br />sidewalks within city limits which are out of repair or are in a <br />condition which endangers persons or property or interferes with <br />the public convenience in the use of such sidewalks; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; Ampex Corporation has requested that, pursuant to <br />its Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program, the City of Redwood City <br />repair public sidewalks in the vicinity of its corporate <br />headquarters in Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; The City of Redwood City has inspected these <br />sidewalks and has determined that a need for sidewalk repairs and <br />tree replacement exists; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; In consideration for the prompt commencement of <br />such sidewalk and tree repair services by the City, through its <br />Contractor, after the approval and execution of this Agreement, <br /> <br /> <br />
