Mr. Morton reintroduced the- topic of a supervised fireworks party for the city's ~i1dren rt ~e yacht harbor ~ly 4. . MSC that Mr. Morton be empowered to complete arrangements, pro- vided the fire department grants permission. NEW BUSINESS: Mr. Hagan suggested that publicity be given to the plan to pur- chase a recreation center site, in the hopes it would draw &uggest- , - ions from the community. He later withdrew this request. . A request by Mr. Van Gundy for a change in the meeting night from Tuesday' met with disapproval. - ., Mr. Werder suggested that some action be taken toward cleaning up debris at the yacht h~bor.
