Follorlng C~iss1oners wre present: ~l1y Harder, J1m ~echt, Al~ Beals, Catherine Brennan, Jim Slobodian. Absent: Louise Tornell and Maurice Schutz. Staff members present: Red Morton, Pasco Balzarini and Wm.. Shewry. MSC--~e~t and Bren~ that the minutes of October 4 ~et1ng be approved as mailed. .... . MImES COORECTION:--from October 4 ~eting. .- The minutes of October meeting to read MSC--Beans and Tornell that a letter be sent to the City Manager and the Planning Commission. This Commission would like to recommend to the City Manager regarding the Odds tad sub- division west of Stulsaft Park that before any map be approved that they give consideration for street easement into the Park also some consideration to drainage and plans be submitted to this Commission before final approval. .. .. CIRCLE PARK--City Attorney's office advising the Commission of title transfers of Price and Hanson properties to the city for Circle Park. FARM HILL ESTATES NO.l--from the Engineer's office: This was in answer to a letter of last month regarding easement fo~ road way entrance into Stulsaft Park, this has been done. REST ROOMS AT COMMUNITY PARK--City Manager asking the Commission to have, this put on the City Council November 20 agenda. BEAUTIFICATION OF WHIPPLE AVENHE--City Manager stating that Pasco Balz- arini s~vey show fuat it will take $798.50 in tree planting. The City Manager states that if this is what the Commission wants, this will be put on the Park 1962-63 budget. MSC--Knecht and Beals that we set aside the Whipple Avenue beautification for now and see that it is put on ~e Park 1962-63 budget. , Recommendation that easement obtained from Farm Hill Estate No.1 into Stulsaft Park be paved. City Manager to refer this to City Engineer, before acceptance of final plans. NIGHT WATERING--A letter be sent to City Manager regarding lights at Community Park for night watering. According to the Joint Meeting of J~e 8, the City Co~cl1 stated that they would investigate the price of the lighting before the Monday meeting. The Commission understands a price had been received, but no action by City Council was taken. This Commission feels that this is a very vital necessity to the recreational program of Redwood City, and the funds should be obtained to complete the lighting for night watering, otherwise it is going to curtail next summer's program. The Commission requests that this also be put on the November 20 agenda along wi th the Rest Rooms at Communi ty Park¡.
