<br />CGM:wg:lO/22/75 <br />CGM:wg:ll/4/75 <br />CGM:wg:2/3/76 <br />CGM:wg:2/24/76 <br />CGM:dp:2/27/76 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N o. 1 667 <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 8 1976 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 8.1, 8.6, 8.9, 8.10, <br />8.11, 8.13 AND 8.14 OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE LICENSING <br />OF BICYCLES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 8.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Bicycle, for the purposes of this <br /> <br />IISection 8.1. <br /> <br />chapter, means any device upon which a person may ride, <br /> <br />which is propelled by human power through a system of belts, <br /> <br />chains, or gears having either two or three wheels (one of <br /> <br />which is at least 20 inches in diameter in tandum or tricycle <br /> <br />arrangement) or having a frame size of at least 14 inches. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />Section 8.6 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of every person <br /> <br />IISection 8.6. <br /> <br />who sells or transfers ownership of any bicycle to report <br /> <br />such sale or transfer by returning to the Fire Department <br /> <br />the registration card issued to such person as licensee <br /> <br />thereof, together with the name and address of the person <br /> <br />to whom the bicycle was sold or transferred. <br /> <br />Such report <br /> <br />shall be made within 10 days of the date of the sale or <br /> <br />transfer. <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the purchaser or trans- <br /> <br />feree of such bicycle to apply for a transfer of registration <br /> <br />therefore from the Fire Department within 10 days of the sale <br /> <br />or transfer. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />Section 8.9 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1667 <br />
