REG:yc:4/9/64-7 <br />r <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY; <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4240, adopted March 16, <br />1964, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br />improvements to the Redwood City Public Library; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT LIPPI, doing business as LIPPI CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY, Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Robert Lippi, doing business as Lippi Construction <br />Company, and reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Robert Lippi, doing business as LIPPI CON - <br />COMPANY, in the amount of Three Thousand Nine Hundred <br />Twenty-three Dollars ($3,923.001, more or less, (which sum is <br />the total of bidder's bids on the basic item of work and Alternate <br />1 through 6 (excluding Alternate 7) set forth in the proposal <br />submitted by bidder) for the construction of improvements to the <br />Redwood City Public Library, according to the plans and specifica- <br />tions heretofore approved by Resolution No. 4240, at the price <br />quoted in its proposal dated April 1, 1964, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible r; <br />bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
