Chapter 26 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City, commencing with the title, is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Chapter 26 <br /> <br />"POLICE RESERVES <br /> <br />"ARTlCLE 1. RESERVE POLl CE CORPS <br /> <br />"section 26.1 A reserve police corps to consist of <br />not more than sixty members is hereby created. <br /> <br />"~ion 26.2 Application for membership in the <br /> <br />reserve police corps established by the preceding section <br /> <br />shall be made by application to the chief of police, and <br />if accepted by the chief of police, shall be sUbject to <br /> <br />approval by the city manager. <br />"Section 26.3 The chief of police shall have complete <br /> <br />authority, control and command of the reserve police corps <br /> <br />established by section 26.1 and shall promulgate all necessary <br />rules and regulations for the operation and control of the <br /> <br />reserve police corps, which rules and regulations shall be <br /> <br />subject to the approval of the city manager. <br />"Section 26.4 Except as otherwise provided herein, no <br /> <br />compensation shall be paid for any duty performed by any <br />member of the reserve police corps established by section <br /> <br />26.1; provided, however, that for extraordinary or non-routine <br /> <br />16~ A t'"' <br />VU <br />
