GRIG~NAL WR 9 '13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO WATER SYSTEM CONNEc...'TION FEES 'l'BE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. section 38.10 of the Code of the city of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: Every application for a permit for a "Section 38.10 connection to the water system owned or operated by the city of Redwood city shall be accompanied by the following connection fees applicable to premises located in the designated areas: Areas A & C Area B (1) For 5/8 x 3/4 inch metered services, a charge of . e.' . . . . . . . . . . . $ 95.00 $ 150.00 (2) For all service connections of meter sizes larger than 5/8 x 3/4 inch, .the following charges: (a) For 3/4 inch metered services 100.00 175.00 (b) For 1 inch metered services (c) For 1-1/2 inch metered services 130.00 230.00 275.00 410.00 (d) For 2 inch metered services 385.00 680.00 (e) For meters larger than 2 inch, the amount of the charge shall be set by the Director of Public Works based upon his estimate of the total cost of installing the service. (3) In the event the actual total cost to the city of installing the metered services exceeds the charges set forth in sub- sections (1) or (2) of this Section 38.10, the actual cost shall be charged to the applicant for such service.
