REG:yc:5/l2/64-7 ORD..!.NANCE N o. i t:I~J AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 2.34, 2.35, 2.36, 2.40, 2.41 AND 2.41.1 THROUGH 2.41.5 OF, ADDING SECTIONS 2.34, 2.35, 2.36, 2.40, 2.4l, 2.41.1 THROUGH 2.41.5 AND 32.27 TO, AND AMENDING SECTION 32.8 OF, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT, CONTINUA- TION AND TERMINATION OF VARIOUS FUNDS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. Sections 2.34, 2.35, 2.36, 2.40, 2.41 and 2.4l.l of the Code of the City of Redwood City are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Section 2.34 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: "Section 2.34 In addition to the funds established in this article, reference is made to the following provisions of this Code: "(a) Section 16.3 Il (b) Section 27. 18 Library Fund Sewer Rental Fund U(c) Section 27.64 Sewer Connection Fee Fund II SECTION 3. Section 2.35 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as follows: IlSection 2.35 A special fund to be known as the 'Water Fund' is hereby established. Monies collected from the operation of water utilities owned or operated by the City shall be deposited in said fund. The monies in this fund shall be expended solely for the payment of bond interest and redemption charges for water facilities, for the payment of costs of acquisition, construction, recon- struction, maintenance, operation, repair and management of the water facilities of the City and for such other purposes as the City Council may from time to time specifi- cally provide for."
