_ ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> HOUSING REVITLIZATION AND ENERGY PROGRAM <br /> (NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOD SERVICES CENTER) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~L~ day of <br />, 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />murdSipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and NORTH PENINSULA <br />NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER, a California nonprofit corporation <br />("Contractor")2 <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 92 <br />for the HOME Investment Parmership Program (HOME), funding assistance may be <br />used to fund eligible activities to be carded out by private non-profit entities or public <br />agencies which are duly organized to undertake affordable housing program <br />development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a Housing Revitalization and Energy Program <br />for persons who reside in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WI4EREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
