<br />DF:S:djg-c <br />3:djg-c <br /> <br />1/21/83 <br />2/28/83R <br /> <br />COpy <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9304 <br /> <br />FEB 2 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING AND DECLARING THAT THE PRINCIPAL <br />AMOUNT HEREIN SPECIFIED OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 1964 RECLAMATION BONDS <br />HERETOFORE AUTHORIZED FOR ISSUANCE BUT NOT ISSUED <br />IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR <br />WHICH AUTHORIZED; CANCELLING AND VOIDING A PORTION OF <br />SAID AMOUNT AUTHORIZED; ESTABLISHING REVISED AMOUNT <br />OF UNISSUED PRINCIPAL; AND ESTABLISHING POLICY WITH <br />RESPECT TO ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR REVISED AMOUNT NOT <br />SO CANCELLED AND VOIDED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City on July <br /> <br />6, 1964 duly adopted its Resolution No. 4351, providing for the <br /> <br />issuance of $70,168,000 principal amount of Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 1964 Reclamation Bonds and the <br /> <br />Series A Bonds of said issue, providing for the levy of a tax to <br /> <br />pay the principal of and interest on the bonds of said issue, and <br /> <br />authorizing and directing sale of the Series A Bonds, and there- <br /> <br />after on February 28, 1966 duly adopted its Resolution No. 4935, <br /> <br />on April 4, 1966 duly adopted its Resolution No. 4985, on May 22, <br /> <br />1967 duly adopted its Resolution No. 5365, on February 5, 1968 <br /> <br />duly adopted its Resolution No. 5593, on June 23, 1969 duly <br /> <br />adopted its Resolution No. 6018, and on February 5, 1979 duly <br /> <br />adopted its Resolution No. 8223, each amending said Resolution <br /> <br />No. 4351 (which resolutions are herein together called the <br /> <br />"Resolution"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid principal amount of indebtness had <br /> <br />been approved prior to adoption of the Resolution by election <br /> <br />u C; /\ /1 <br />v t) \ <br />
