<br />~M:djg-c 2/4/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 055 <br /> <br />O;?lG1NAl <br />FES 8 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTPACT FOR FURNISHING <br />OF LOW PRESSURE SODIU~ VAPOR STREET LIGHTS <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE STREET LIGHT CONVERSION <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9015, adopted December <br /> <br />7, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />low pressure sodium vapor street lights in connection with the <br /> <br />street light conversion projecti and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Amfac Electric Supply Co., San Carlos, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> <br />ment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to Amfac Electric Supply Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Amfac Electric Supply Co., in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred seven and <br /> <br />45/100 Dollars ($196,507.45) including all applicable sales <br /> <br />tax for the furnishing of low pressure sodium vapor street lights <br /> <br />in connection with the street light conversion project, in accord- <br /> <br />ance with the bidder's proposal dated January 12, 1982, and in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />9 055 <br />
