L <br /> <br /> -- 0 R I G I N A L -- 2/10/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12998 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MARINA SEWER <br /> PUMP STATION REHABILITATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12943, adopted October 28, <br />1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Marina Sewer Pump Station <br />Rehabilitation Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, ten bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clyde G. Steagall, Inc., dba Mid Valley Electrical of Loomis, <br />Califomia is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Clyde G. Steagall, Inc., dba Mid Valley Electric; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Clyde G. Steagall, Inc., dba Mid Valley Electric, in the <br />amount of Three Hundred Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-one and No/100 <br />Dollars ($309,741.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br />November 20, 1996 for the Marina Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation Project, is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
