<br />~, , <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />ORIGI'Nf <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />COST SHARING AGREEMENT FOR THE SLURRY SEALING OF A PORTION <br />OF CANYON ROAD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY'S 2009-2010 SPOT <br />REPAIR AND SLURRY SEAL PROJECT. <br /> <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 2- day of M.Arz/ ,2010, <br />by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political SUbdiViSiO~:~[ ~tate of Califomia, <br /> <br />hereinafter called "County", and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, Municipal Corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, hereinafter referred to as "CITY". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County are desirous to slurry seal a portion of Canyon <br /> <br />Road near Cordilleras Road within County limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and County agree that the City shall act as lead agency in the <br /> <br />preparation of plans, specifications, construction administration, construction inspection, and <br /> <br />related documents for the slurry sealing of a portion of Canyon Road near Cordilleras Road <br /> <br />within County limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the portion of Canyon Road near Cordilleras Road being slurry sealed lies <br /> <br />within both corporate limits of the City of Redwood City and the unincorporated area of the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County area to be slurry sealed in accordance with this Agreement is <br /> <br />shown on Exhibit "A", attached to and incorporated by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed slurry seal work of a portion of Canyon Road near Cordilleras <br /> <br />Road shall include, but not be limited to: mobilization, maintaining traffic, application of a slurry <br /> <br />seal, spot repairs, installation of traffic stripes, pavement markings, pavement markers, and <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />items <br /> <br />of work <br /> <br />associated <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />slurry <br /> <br />seal <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />ATTY/AG R/20 1 0.082 <br />091310 <br />
