RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING LOT LIGHTING - PHASE I - AT THE MUNICIPAL MARINA; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6869, adopted February 12, 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of parking lot lighting at the Municipal Marina in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; and WHEREAS, ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC. , San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Rosendin Electric, Inc. , to waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned low bidder, and to reject any and all other bids received for said work; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC. , in the total lump sum amount of Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred and 20/100 Dollars ($18,800.20) in accordance with bidder' s proposal dated March 13, 1973, (of Base Bid, plus Option "A" ) , for the construction of parking lot lighting at the Municipal Marina, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected.
