RD-90-03 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING A RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND LAST <br /> RESORT HOUSING PLAN FOR SEQUOIA STATION PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency, SamTrans, Caltrans and a private <br />developer have been engaged for some time in the preparation of <br />plans and related documents for the construction of the Sequoia <br />Station Project (the Project) in a portion of the Downtown <br />Subarea of the Project Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order for the Project to be realized it will be <br />necessary to remove existing structures on the project site, <br />including four (4) occupied dwelling units; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 33415 of the Health and Safety Code <br />requires the Agency to provide relocation assistance to those <br />persons who will be displaced by the Project, in accordance with <br />the State Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property <br />Acquisition Act of 1971; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to meet the requirements of Section 33415, <br />the Agency has prepared a plan for the Project entitled <br />"Relocation Assistance and Last Resort Housing Plan" dated <br />August, 1989 (the Plan) copies of which are on file in the <br />offices of the Director and Secretary of the Agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Plan has been submitted to the Department of <br />Housing and Community Development and local housing and planning <br />agencies for review and comment, and general notice of the Plan <br />has been given the residents of the relocation area, all as <br />required by law. <br /> <br /> <br />
