RESOLUTION N . 11- <br />RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD D CITY APPROVING A PLANNED <br />COMMUNITY PERMIT PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ZONING RDI[ ANCE <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br />("Commission") is empowered by Chapter 30 of the City of Redwood City <br />Municipal Code to act upon applications for planned community permits, as <br />provided for by Article 52 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 2011, the Commission considered and <br />approved an initial study prepared by the City's Planning Department in <br />accordance with the requirements ent f the California Environmental Quality Act <br />("CEQA")and, based on the approved initial study, considered and adopted <br />mitigated negative declaration in compliance with all CE QA requirements, as part <br />of the City's consideration of Planned Community Permit Application No. <br />PC209 -2; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 2011, the Commission conducted a public <br />hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements o f the State Planning And <br />Zoning Lair and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider Planned <br />Community Permit Application fro. PC2 gg -g2, and received and considered oral <br />and documentary evidence on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Com mission ion has determined that the proposed Planned <br />Community Permit would further the purposes of and appropriately implement <br />the North Main in Street Precise Plan adopted by the City Council on August 27, <br />2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, F E, E IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the above recitals are <br />accurate constitute findings in this matter arid, together with the Staff Report rt and <br />the application (materials, including without limitation the S/MND, development <br />plan, affordable housing plan vesting tentative map, and all other documents, <br />reports, studies, memoranda, reaps, oral and written testimony, and materials in <br />the City's file for the applications and the Project, and all adopted City planning <br />documents relating to the Project and the property including the City's General <br />Plan, North Main Street Precise Pram, Zoning Ordinance, and other applicable <br />City laws and regulations, and all associated approved and certified <br />environmental documents, have together served as an adequate and appropriate <br />evidentiary basis for the findings and actions set forth in this Resolution. <br />ATTY/RESO.2165/333 MAIN STREET PC PERMIT <br />092711 <br />1 <br />
