RESOLUTION I N . 11-08 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION F THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING A PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AND MODIFICATION OF PARKING <br />REQUIREMENTS UIf EMENTS PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />A CE <br />WHEREAS, E S, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br />("Commission") is empowered by Article (Planned Development Permits) and <br />Article 30 (Off - Street Parking and Loading) of the City of Redwood od city zoning <br />Code to act upon applications for planned development permits and decisions <br />relevant to parking requirements within mixed use zoning districts; the <br />Commission is also empowered by the Subdivision Map Act and the Redwood <br />d <br />City Municipal Code to consider Vesting Tentative Map Applications; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 13, 2011, the Commission considered and <br />certified an Environmental Impact Deport prepared by the City's Planning <br />Department in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act "CE A" and, based on the approved Environmental Impact Deport, <br />considered and adopted a Statement of overriding Considerations and <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program in compliance with all CE QA <br />requirements, as part of the City's consideration of Planned Development Permit <br />Application No. PD201 o -o, the applicant's request to reduce parking <br />requirements consistent with zoning ordinance Article 30, Section 30.4.E, and <br />Vesting Tentative Map Application No. TM2010 -0 ; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 13, 2011, the Commission conducted a public <br />hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Planning and <br />Zoning Law and the Redwood City zoning ordinance, to consider approval of <br />Planned Development Permit Application No. PD201 -01, reduction of parking <br />requirements consistent with zoning ordinance Article 30, Section 30.4.13, and <br />approval of Nesting Tentative harp Application No. TM2010 -0 , and received and <br />considered oral and documentary evidence on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, EAS, the commission has determined that the pro posed Planned <br />Development Permit, guest parking and Nesting Tentative Map would farther the <br />purposes of and appropriately implement the City of Redwood od City General Plan, <br />applicable provisions of the Redwood city Municipal Code and Zoning <br />Ordinance, and the 2580 El Camino Real Residential identiarl Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
